We started our day with a picnic lunch. It was delicious. We had a nice little pavilion right on the water. Evie really enjoyed it!

Next we went down to the lake to go swimming. Evie LOVES the water. She would swim all day if we would let her. She enjoyed the beach, wading in the water and having Daddy throw her in the air.
Our next stop was a really fun surprise. Evie really likes animals, especially horses. We stopped at the riding stables and Evie made a very special friend, Rusty (or "My Musty" as she lovingly calls him). She got to pet him and sit on him. Rusty was so sweet. He is 27 years old! Evie has talked about him constantly since we left. I hear the words, "Daddy, can I have a pony?" in our future!!!

SHOCONES! (That Eviese for Snow Cone.) This little girl asks for a snow cone at least once a day. It is so funny! So Daddy found us a great little snow cone stand for an afternoon snack stop followed by a nice, little nap. After nap we headed to one of our favorite places to eat in Hot Springs, Fisherman's Wharf. We had a great table right on the water. We enjoyed some delicious food, watched the boats go by and observed some more of Evie's favorite things...ducks, turtles and fish. She was so excited to see animals. She kept pointing to the ducks and yelling, "Duck. Quack, Quack!"
